Customer Policy

Failure to receive bill does not relieve customer's obligation to pay bill by the due date. After the due date a 10% penalty will be applied to the account. If payment is not received or proper arrangements made by the due date the service is subjected to disconnection without further notice and a reconnection fee of $25.00 will be charged for each service. The bill must be paid in full before service will be reconnected. If your service is disconnected and the security deposit is applied to the account, a higher deposit will be required before the service will be reconnected.

If there is a water leak the company is not responsible for repairing the leak or liable for any water loss due to the leak. Customers must supply their own cut-off valve on customer's side of the water meter and not rely on meter curb-stop.

If there is a gas leak the company will repair the leak. If the leak is on the company's side of the meter the leak will be repaired at no cost to the customer. If the leak is on the customer's side of the meter the leak will be repaired at the customer's expense. Marion Natural Gas will not make any adjustments for gas bills due to a leak.
