The mission of the South Pittsburg Board of Water Works & Sewers and Marion Gas Systems is to serve the people within our service area of Marion County in an efficient and courteous manner.

Company Profile

The South Pittsburg Board of Water Works & Sewers and Marion Gas system is a public utility created by the State of Tennessee to provide water, sewer, natural gas and propane throughout Marion County. The utility currently serves over 4600 customers.

The utility is governed by a Board of Directors who determine its policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Management is responsible for operating the utility according to the direction of the Board. The utility currently has 25 employees trained to meet the needs of our customers.
